BOARD OF MANAGEMENT 2022-23

The Director of Cricket role includes

• Aid the development, implementation and monitoring of the programmes for cricket to fit the stated aims of the club

• Being the clubs spokesperson

• Chair meetings

• Port Stephens Council Sports Council Delegate, NDCA Delegate

• Contact point for council, clubs, associations and other organisations

• Chairperson of PSCC Foundation

• School Liaison Officer

• Improve and sustain the quality of cricket coaching across the Club

The Partnerships Director role includes

• Being the clubs main co-ordinator for community partnerships

• Co-ordinates all events, including our raffles, associated with our community partners

• Assists the club in player retention and recruitment

• Assists and reports to the F&A Director in any other fundraising endeavours of the club including but not limited to the Canteen

The Senior Cricket Director role includes

• Being the members contact point for all matters regarding senior cricket 

• Being the members contact point for women's cricket

• Assists the club in managing senior and women's cricket engagement with our community partners

• Assists the club in player retention and recruitment

The Junior Cricket Director role includes

• Being the members and parents contact point for junior cricket to the committee

• Assists the club in player retention and recruitment

• Acts as minute secretary if the F&A Director absent at meetings

• Ensures all members interacting with juniors have valid WWCC

The Financial & Admin. Director role includes

• Main role is to control funds of the organisation

• Be the Incorporations Public Officer and compile relevant reports & be the conduit to NSW Fair Trading and/or ATO
• Chairperson & Treasurer of the PSCC Foundation
• Minute Secretary at all meetings
• Clubs Child Safety Officer

Fundraising & Functions

Amy joins the committee to assist both the Partnerships Director and Finance & Administration Director in co-ordinating fundraising tasks for the club, ranging from raffles to canteen. Additionally assisting organising functions - season launch, kids & adults Christmas party and the annual awards night.

Head Curator

After 10 years Craig is still responsible for the co-ordination of pitch preparation and maintenance as well as practice facilities at King Park. Additionally is responsible for operating and maintaining tools and equipment, ensuring resources are available to prepare wickets of a high quality.

Additionally co-ordinates with captains for the putting on and off of covers, as well as match day preparations.

Conduct Chairperson

​

Grant is responsible for managing all matters regarding conduct for the club. The role encompasses receiving complaints from members of the club or external parties and establishing if our internal code of conducts have been breached. A determination to dismiss the matter or proceed with the tribunal process, which requires facilitating three members to sit on a panel (1 Current Player, 1 Past Player and 1 Committee/Life Member).

Statistician and Historian

Jarrod continues the work of his father George of facilitating all club statistics offline and curating our history for distribution to members at club events or to celebrate statistical milestones. Additionally, Jarrod has extensive cricket administration experience and is a talented graphic designer and helps out the club in other aspects where possible.

Partnerships Officer

​

Stuart sits on our board of management merely to provide experience and assistance to the board in terms of facilitating our community partnerships and improving how we can offer, facilitate and develop these into the future.

Troy joins the committee after three years coaching our junior sides.
